Gaoming is still a "late development" area compared with other developed places in the Peal River Delta. Yet, "late development" provides us with sufficient land resources. And thanks to its natural environment and advantages of land resources, Gaoming is able to successfully receive the industrial transfer and economic radiation from the core area of Pearl River Delta and the whole Guangdong province, even Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan, which at the same time realizes its development strategy of "Space for Time"(shorten the distance with those developed places) and "Resources for Investment". As an area "develop later", Gaoming is more flexible at the industry layout and also more confident at selecting promising industry, which is a great help to strengthen its local economy.The newly planned Cangjiang Industrial Park occupies nearly 100 square kilometers, providing vast land for theme parks.
